B.A. from the College of Saint Mary in Elementary Education, Art

Why Catholic Education?

I grew up in a small Nebraska town that did not have a Catholic grade school or high school.  So, I was blessed to be able to go to a Catholic college.  Our children attended St. James/Seton School.  They received such a wonderful education.  I was glad that I could serve by working at a great Catholic school.

Mrs. Kim Steinbruck                                                                         Started at SJS in 2014

B.S. from Creighton University in Elementary Education
Certificate from the University of Omaha in Instruction in Urban Education

I started my teaching career in public schools.  However, when my children were young I would attend their weekly Masses with them here at SJS.  I remember feeling a strong calling to be a part of this community in which I could help children grow in their faith.  It has been a great experience to bring our faith into many conversations and lessons at school.

Fourth Grade Para:

Mrs. Anne Gregory

I started as a 3rd and 4th grade para-educator in 1997 but before then I was a parent volunteer for 12 years.  My oldest child started at St. James/Seton in 1985 and my youngest graduated from St. James/Seton in 2000.

Why Catholic Education?
I did not have the opportunity to attend Catholic Schools as I grew up on a farm in South Central Nebraska over 40 miles from the closest Catholic School.  When my husband and I moved to Omaha I wanted my children to receive an education founded on our Catholic values.  My children received a great education and I love being able to share my Catholic values with the children I work with.
